Afternoon Kelvin,

The estimated TOP is around end 2011 or early 2012. Do you require the funds from sales of HDB to assist in the financing for the purchase? The current estimated pricing for 3 to 4 bedroom unit ranges from $1m to $1.4m.

1 of my client had transacted a 2 bedroom unit in Oasis@Elias some 1-2 months back at $980k.

If you buy before TOP, you may still catch the price for before TOP but what are the chances since estimated TOP is end 2011 or early 2012. Owners may want to hold on longer in order to sell at a better price after TOP?

Especially if you require sales proceeds of your HDB to fund your purchase, shifting house 1 time for your buy and sell will be very challenging indeed since you may or will require renovation for the purchased unit.
